What dates are available in the month I am considering?

As we are constantly changing and updating our calendar, we do not post the Twigs Tempietto’s availability online. However, you can call 864-297-5112 or email events@twigs.net to have our event coordinator to find out available dates and times.

Can I stop by and see the venue?

Appointments are appreciated, however, not required. If you would like an official tour through the venue with our event manager, please call 864-297-5112 or email events@twigs.net. The garden is open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays for drop-ins providing that there is not a private event at the time.

How do I find out more about cost and pricing?

Due to customization, our prices for events vary based on preference. For more information, call 864-297-5112 or email events@twigs.net for a personalized quote with all pricing and policies – including tax and service charge. Once an initial proposal has been created, we can alter it as needed to fit your image and budget.

How many people can the Twigs Tempietto accomodate?

The Tempietto is an ideal backdrop for the exchanging of vows. Nestled into a garden setting, the bridal party will enter on a stone walkway and gather at a vine-covered gazebo for the ceremony. The terrace adjacent to the gazebo will seat up to 200 guests for a ceremony. If your plans for the Tempietto would include a ceremony and reception, the maximum accommodation would be 175 guests. A reception only booking could include up to 300 guests with room for a dance floor, food buffets and guest seating. For guest counts over 200, an additional tent package is included.

Can you describe the terrace and patio tents?

Our back terrace is 2500 square feet and is covered by a custom designed tent. The tent includes lighting, sidewalls, heaters or fans depending on the season. Both front and rear entrances to the indoor Tempietto building have covered patios that can also be enclosed and heated. The two patios total over 1000 square feet. All of these amenities are included in your rental of the facility.

What equipment does Twigs Tempietto provide? Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware, and glassware provided, or will I need to rent them myself?

The Tempietto Venue is equipped with tables, chairs and linens. Our base linens are ivory and they reach the ground. Each package includes the client’s choice of decorative linen overlay for guest and service tables.
Equipment included in your package is as follows:
110 wooden farm chairs
Twelve 48” round tables with ivory linen
Four 8 ft tables with ivory linen
Two 6 ft tables with ivory linen
Four 4 ft tables with ivory linen
Six Cocktail tables with ivory linen
One bar set with ivory linen
Five café tables and with 4 chairs each
Additional rental items are available through Professional Party Rentals and are handled by Twigs.

What other decor is included in my event package?

Each event package comes with complimentary décor items for your guest tables and buffets. You will choose from one of our three collections: Elegant, Rustic or Colored Palate. Décor collections include items such as lanterns, crystal trees, twig trees, footed pedestals with colored glass shards, rose petals, floating flowers and buffet arrangements.
In addition to our complimentary items, your event team will help design your bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and any other floral items you might like to add to enhance your day. Pricing is based on seasonality and stems requested.

What are the Twigs Tempietto menu options? Can I bring in an outside caterer?

Special menus are prepared for mid-day and for evening events. Prices vary by menu. Custom menus can also be created. Due to the Twigs Tempietto offering full-service catering, we do not allow the use of outside caterers. Our fully staffed kitchen and chef take care of the food and service.

Does the Twigs Tempietto allow alcohol? Can I bring in my own wine, beer, or champagne, or other alcohol?

Twigs Tempietto does allow the service of Alcoholic beverages. The appropriate number of servers/bartenders is included in the package price for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic services. You can purchase beer, wine and champagne from our beverage menu. Hard Plastic cups are used to serve any beverages being served outside since glass items on the back terraces may result in broken glass. Initially an estimate of consumption is given based on beverage choices, time of day and number of guests. The client pays for what is actually consumed. A credit card number is held in our file to finalize the bar billing/credit after the event. A 20% service fee and an 8% sales/hospitality tax will be added to all food and beverage items.

What types of music can the Twigs Tempietto accommodate?

All types of live music are welcome. We invite harpists, small combos, quartets, DJ’s and larger show bands. The garden area is discreetly wired for electricity so that your musicians can be accommodated in several locations.

Can I bring in a cake from an outside vendor? Does Twigs Tempietto cut and serve cake?

The Twigs Tempietto allows cakes from outside vendors. If you do not have a specific vendor, we can direct you with a list of preferred bakers in the area. Our staff will cut and serve the cake, saving the top layer if requested. As part of your flower package, you may opt to have Twigs adorn the cake with flowers.

What are the booking times for weddings and receptions?

Mid-Day 11:00 or 11:30 Ceremony with a 3 hour Reception
Evening 6:00, 6:30 or 7:00 Ceremony with a 4 hour Reception
Evening Wedding receptions are only booked in four hour blocks of time. The venue will be opened two hours before the start of the reception for set-up. Extended hours are available with prior approval and additional payment. Maximum capacity is 300 guests for reception only.
In booking the facility for both ceremony and reception, the doors will open two hours before the start time of the ceremony for set-up, dressing and photographs.
When you arrive, all chairs and set-up will be in place for the ceremony. Pictures are allowed in the tent up to one hour before the ceremony.
Extended hours are available with prior approval and additional payment. Maximum capacity is 175 guests for ceremony and reception.

Does the Twigs Tempietto offer a scheduled time for ceremony rehearsal?

The rental of the facility for a ceremony will include a one hour rehearsal on the eve of the wedding at either 4:00 or 5:30. The time of your rehearsal will be set at the time of your booking. All indoor building access will be locked during the rehearsal to keep premises clear for the next event. Your guests will have access to the outdoor restrooms and all of the covered patios. Musicians or music set up will not need to be present at the time for the rehearsal. They may set up another time to get acquainted with the facility.

Does the Twigs Tempietto offer on-site coordination?

As part of the Wedding Day planning process, the Tempietto Event staff will prepare an Event Plan that details your wedding day from the time of your arrival until the time of your departure. This plan should be shared with your Officiant, your musicians, your baker and your ceremony director. The Tempietto Event Staff will direct your reception and work with all vendors to guarantee and smooth event.

What are the expectations of my ceremony director?

A ceremony director is required for each ceremony and rehearsal performed at Twigs. The client selects the ceremony director and submits the director’s name and contact information to Twigs. Your Tempietto event planner will meet with the Ceremony director prior to rehearsal to review the Tempietto event plan. See all expectation of your ceremony director here:

How does the Twigs Tempietto handle the set-up and clean-up?

As a part of the planning process, Twigs will create a floor plan for your event. A layout for the placement of all tables and chairs will indicate the flow and progress of your event. Twigs handles all of the facility set-up and break-down of tables, chairs and linens. Two hours prior to your event start time, Twigs will have all set-up complete. After your event, Twigs will break-down all of the equipment. All of these charges are covered in your Reception package. Twigs will arrange for the venue to have a sanitized cleaning before your event. The cost of this cleaning is included in your rental fee.

What is the payment plan for Twigs Tempietto?

To book the facility, a non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit of 1500.00 is required. The deposit is for your specific date and ensures that your date will be reserved and is not available to rent for other events.
One month prior to your event date, 50% of the outstanding balance is due. At this point, these fees are non-refundable. Your final payment will be scheduled eight days prior to your event date. A meeting can be arranged to review your final head count and any last minute changes for chairs, tables and/or decoration will be noted. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your event.

Is there a space for brides and bridesmaids to get ready on-site?

Beyond the Twigs Tempietto venue, there is a decorated bridal suite specifically for getting ready for your walk down the aisle. Inside the suite, you will find a full-length mirror, a powder room, walk-in closet, along with couches and chairs.

Does the Twigs Tempietto have signage or other aids to direct guests to my event?

The Twigs Tempietto provides a freestanding chalkboard to direct guests to follow the garden paths for events under the tent or to enter the main door for events inside. You are able to bring in your own signs as well.

Is there complimentary parking on-site?

Although limited, the Twigs Tempietto does offer free parking in the front lot. Additional free parking is available directly across the street at the Haywood Mall.

Does the Twigs Tempietto allow smoking?

A separate smoking section is located outside of the tent. We ask that any smoking be restricted to that area only.

Is the Twigs Tempietto handicap accessible?

The versatility that accompanies the Tempietto garden make it completely handicap accessible.
