Twigs Driver App — Privacy Policy

Twigs ("we", "our", "us") operates the Twigs Driver mobile application. This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you log in, we collect your username and associate it with your driver profile (name, phone number) as configured by your employer.
Location Data
The app collects your device's GPS coordinates while you are actively on a delivery route. Location data is sent to our servers approximately every 30 seconds during an active route so that dispatchers can monitor delivery progress. Location data is never collected when you are not on an active route. Location tracking automatically stops outside of store operating hours.
Photos
When you confirm a delivery, you may take or select photos as proof of delivery. These photos are uploaded to our servers and associated with the delivery record. Photos are used solely for delivery verification purposes.
Push Notification Tokens
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to send you route assignments and updates. This token is not used for marketing or advertising.
How We Use Your Information
All information collected is used exclusively for delivery operations:
- Route assignment and navigation
- Real-time delivery progress for dispatch
- Delivery confirmation and record-keeping
- Communication about route changes or assignments
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only accessible to authorized Twigs staff for delivery management purposes. We use the following third-party services:
- Google Maps / Apple Maps / Waze for navigation (when you choose to open a navigation app)
- Expo (React Native) for push notification delivery
Data Retention
Location data and delivery records are retained as part of business operations records. Account information is retained while your driver account is active.
Your Choices
You can revoke location, camera, or notification permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking location permission will prevent dispatch from seeing your delivery progress while on a route. Revoking camera permission will prevent you from taking delivery confirmation photos.
Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.
